At night, Eden and Es Paradis are both a short walk inland from the strip, so sunset, dinner and a club happen without moving a car once, and both run to the island-wide six o'clock close. The strip itself is drinking rather than dining. The better tables are around the marina and the port, where the pace slows down. A companion coming from the south needs twenty-five to thirty-five minutes each way, more when the roads are busy in August. That travel time is why west-coast bookings want a day's notice in high season rather than an afternoon message, and why a short booking is poor value here.

Sant Antoni evenings are long by nature — drinks from seven, sunset, dinner at ten, a club after one — so anything under five or six hours cuts the arc in half. Settle the way back in advance too, because a taxi at closing time on the west coast is not something to leave to chance. Book a driver for the return or use the Discobus.
